Olivia Ann Gets Baptized

On Saturday it was my niece Olivia Ann's Baptism. She is almost 7 months and is cute as a button. I wasn't able to take a lot of pictures during the baptism and most of them turned out blurry. Here are a few pics that I was able to take. It's always nice to see all my extended family during these kind of festivities. I had to leave the reception early because I had dance rehearsal which was kind of a bummer.

Beer Olympic Party

The Reyes kids decided to throw a Beer Olympic Party in order to celebrate the 2008 Summer Olympics. Randy decided to have events such as beer pong, flip cup, etc. and have an Olympic event. Everybody who came was asked to dress in Olympic/sport attire. All I can say is what a night!

I even brought out my old college cheer uniform. Go Titans Go!

It's hard to think that my seniors from last year are now in college. Here are some pics from graduation in June, the last time I saw them. I am excited for this school year and eager to get know my new kids! Congrats C/0 2008

Gumball 3000 San Diego

Some of our friends had the privilege of being invited to join the Gumball 3000 race. Irons, Aly, Jay and Len were able to be part of this amazing adventure. They will be going to places like San Francisco, Hollywood, San Diego, Vegas, Korea, and China. One of their stops was San Diego before heading out to Vegas then overseas. Before heading out to the Gumball party at the Ivy we ate Japanese food for dinner. I also brought out my cousin Genelle to show her some No-No shenanigans. This was also my first night out all week. I have been laying low since JJ died. It has been hard to not see her in the backyard waiting for us in the morning. All of her stuff is still there but she isn't. =( We will be getting her cremation in about 2 weeks.

The No-No's up to No good again!

R.I.P JJ 8-8-08

As all of you know by now, are family dog for 10 years had to be put to sleep today. Today has been a hard day for my family. JJ has been suffering for the past week. We thought she was just under the weather so we brought her to the vet. The vet said she had a fever and infection and gave her antibiotics and medicine. For the past 2 days she wasn't getting better and wasn't eating. She was also breathing irregular and would not get up. Friday afternoon she was laying motionless and was suffering. We could not watch her die like that so made a family decision to put her to sleep. I didn't think my dad would be so sad but JJ was really his dog. My dad fed her everyday and played/talked with her before and after work. My mom was really emotional as well as me. I'm just happy we were with her during her last breaths. We will be getting her cremated so we can still have a part of her with us. We had JJ since she was 3 weeks old. My brother brought her home one day for his girlfriend at the time, but she wasn't allowed to keep it. So my mom decided to keep her and we've had her ever since. JJ has been a wonderful chill dog for the time we had her. We will miss and love you JJ.

Operation Mohawk

Cousin Gene came over on Sunday and asked a favor from his mischevious little cousin. He asked me to give him a mohawk for a Rockband contest for his work. Being a good little cousin I accepted since no one else would do it for him. Gene's work was hosting a Rockband competition where he could win a 40 inch plasma TV. Gene came close to winning and won an Ipod instead. I have done alot of people's hair but never tried bicking it. To get the full effect of a mohawk I convinced Gene to shave it with a razor. I think I did a pretty good darn good job! What do you think?
